Eleanor Grace Gladfelter

We have a niece!! Eleanor "Ellie" Grace Gladfelter was born on Saturday night, July 5th. Derrick and I were out to dinner with friends and got a call on the way home that Leanna was heading to the hospital. By the time we got there Ellie was born. Leanna didn't even have time for drugs...she barely made it to the hospital in time. We were able to get in and see her super early in the morning of July 6 and then again around lunchtime the following day. Mom, Dad, and baby are all doing great!

We played disc golf on Sunday morning after she was born and then went to Chipotle to pick up lunch for everybody. They asked us why we were getting 5 meals and we told them we were headed to the hospital because our niece had just been born. When I got to the register they told us the whole order was taken care of in celebration of Ellie. Isn't that awesome?? Derrick and I left a good tip and of course we'll be back. We're pretty loyal to Chipotle :)

Leanna sent me this photo of Ellie today going home from the hospital. She is so cute in real clothes! I'm excited to get photo updates of her and Derrick and I are planning to swing by on Wednesday evening to see her again soon. Can't let her forget her favorite aunt and uncle!
